Tasted 22/11/2008. 330ml bottle from beerstore.co.nz. Hazy gold with a thin white head. Looks tired. Smells and tastes it too but has a nice fruitiness and peppery coriander spice that makes me think it would be a delicious alternative to ’the big un’ if you could get it fresh.

Bottled 33cl. It pours surprisingly clear golden beer with a tall white head. The nose is of cork, melon, glue, oranges, coriander and banana - rather strong. Faintly watery body. Quite a lot of cork again in the taste which has notes of banana, orange, lemon, cloves and coriander. Sweet. Some melon sneaking in. This beer gets slightly cloying after a few sips. Acidic. Some lacework. Residual sugars accompanied by cork and coriander in the finish. Pleasant, complex but with a mediocre palate.

bottle 300 ml. pale yellow, bit hazy colour. big white head. I can relate to the banana taste that yngwie calls it. dry aftertaste.

Bottle. A semi-clear, golden, well-carbonated beer producing a dense, white head of moderate size. Banana dominates the aroma, but there’s also wheat, and a touch of spices. Some orange and lemon too. Somehow, it reminds me more of a german hefeweizen than of a witbier, and that impression continues in the flavor. It’s banana-dominated, with some spices and citrus, and also a wheatyness. Medium to full body, with a good effervescence. The finish continues in the same way as the initial flavor, and has a little bitterness added. Refreshing and easy to drink, though it might be a bit gassy in the long run. Enjoyable beer, refreshing to drink. Sweet aroma with a touch of nuts, short crisp finish, small head.

Bottle at Ørsted Ølbar, Copenhagen. Clear amber color, small white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Flavor is sweet and smooth with a bit citrus and spices.

Cerveja degustada em setembro/08, Aroma apenas regular, presenças de banana, damascos, mel. Na taça, pouca presença de espuma, um dourado claro, não parece tão turva, pouco ou quase nenhuma presença e persistência da espuma. Sabor com toques de aveia, banana, um toque frutado de laranja, damascos, até pessego, pão. CERVEJA QUE NÃO PREENCHE A BOA, FICA DEVENDO NESTA PARTE, RETROGOSTO DE FERMENTO, POUCO DURADOURO. aCHEI Q FICOU DEVENDO PARA UMA CERVEJA DE TRIGO TRAPISTA.

Bottle, from a shop in Brussels. Pours hazy looks like a typical wit. Aroma is very citrusy, with a little clove. Refreshing and lightly hoppy with some spice in the aftertaste.
