Bottle. Hazy pale ywllow with thick white head. Aromas of berries, banana and lemons. Surprisingly sour, not sweet at all. The taste has tones of lemon and strawberries. Different from other Wit’s I’ve tasted. Not worse, just different.

Pale straw color - slightly hazy. Aroma is a bit fruity. Clean and quenching - flavors of lemons, what malts and slight hint of peppery spice. Very nice.

Hazy blond color with a very foamy head. Wheat and fruity, sweet aromas. Tart, with a good malt body, some acidity and a long vanilla finish. Light and clean.

Bottle. Small head with short duration. Pale yellow color. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Taste is fruity and just the right amount of citrus.

Pretty much faultless Belgian white out of the Netherlands. A surfeit of poor Australian whites has turned me off the style, but this is the real deal. Poured a translucent pale gold with a tall, enduring head. The aroma is so bright and fresh that it reached me long before I sniffed - very appetising. Very much to style - bananas, cloves, yeast - yum yum. Thin in the body, as you would expect. Soft carbonation. Very smooth flavour profile - banana, dusty hops and a squeeze of lemon in a mild sourish finish. Pulls up a bit short but it’s quenching. (30cl bottle, IBS Perth, bb Nov 2006)

Pours a darker gold than most trippels. Has a sharper taste than most, but it has the usual sweetness at the attack. The finish is long and dry, and the beer is very aromatic. You can smell this one across the room.

Gold blond colour, large white head. Very herby aroma, sharp. Taste is also sharp, finishing in with some bitter touches and a dru malty ending. Not bad.
