Well rewed and nice aroma, but not so tasty. I expected more from these guys in this beer.

Bottle brown, 750 ml
Appearance: Pours bright, sunny, lemony, juicy, slightly honey like body colour. Body is hazy to murky in texture, carbonation is very lively and natural effervescence is very strong. Head is snowy white, very gentle, soft and pillowy, frothy deep in structure, there is also quite nice lacing. Head is medium in size but quite firm.
Aroma: Very nice complex spicy - fruity - wheaty composition. At front there is a kind of winy but soft, highly aromatic, inviting, warm and gentle aroma of bananas, lemon, lime, yeasts, butterscotch, milk, wildberries. Than comes some malty and wheaty background, essential and refreshing lime like hops, very flowery hoppyness. Really assertive and easily to catch aroma, on a one hand strong but not heavy on the other, some notes of wine grapes, whipped cream, vanilla, clove, cinamon and many other spices being nicely joined. Very refreshing and deep.
Flavour: Well balanced and mild in texture. Very mild and natural effervescence is dingling your palate, at front there are creamy - vanilla flavours with clove and mainly coriander, orange and lime peal, leavly not cheaply accidic, not too sweet, very ballanced in term of flavours, very distinctive, very soft on a one hand but very nicely accented and pronounced flavour on the other. Daugh, flowery - spicy hoppyness. Finish duration is long. The best Witbier (Belgian White) I’ve had so far. At finish also some fruits show off like lime, banana and orange.
Palate: Body is light, texture is quite smooth, carbonation on palate is lively, finish feel is mineral, soft, clean, highly aromatic in nose and bready, malty, wheaty with yeasts notes on palate.

Tasted 22/11/2008. 330ml bottle from beerstore.co.nz. Hazy gold with a thin white head. Looks tired. Smells and tastes it too but has a nice fruitiness and peppery coriander spice that makes me think it would be a delicious alternative to ’the big un’ if you could get it fresh.

Bottled 33cl. It pours surprisingly clear golden beer with a tall white head. The nose is of cork, melon, glue, oranges, coriander and banana - rather strong. Faintly watery body. Quite a lot of cork again in the taste which has notes of banana, orange, lemon, cloves and coriander. Sweet. Some melon sneaking in. This beer gets slightly cloying after a few sips. Acidic. Some lacework. Residual sugars accompanied by cork and coriander in the finish. Pleasant, complex but with a mediocre palate.
