Poured a deep cola color with red highlights. Modest off white cap...Aroma was nearly all caramel malt with light wisps of willamette hops. Medium- light body, wet, smooth mouth feel. Toasty caramel up front, some coffee and walnut tones balanced by the NW nobles finishes faster than I’d like with a light malty sweet aftertaste.
This beer is still available occasionally in draft form made for specific events and customers who sell the draft under the house name. Rentalman (103), British Columbia, Canada

Pours a very dark brown with a nice head. Quick pouring results in cascading effect. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy. Alcohol seems stronger and shows up at the end. Hops are not really evident. The initial taste disapears too quickly although the aftertaste is not unpleasant and does last a while making you want that next ounce. Not bad for Labatts.
