Miguel (1181), Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, Canada Jul 20, 2006 Robe ambrée très claire surmontée d’une mousse beige mince. Arômes de malt et de houblon. Saveurs de houblon terreux et de malt caramélisé. Ungstrup (11381), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 19, 2005 An orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of brewmash. The flavor is malty with a dry hoppy end, though without much bitterness. Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jul 28, 2005 Mostly clear, thin white head. Fair amount of Saaz hops, decent balance between the bready anbd biscuity malts. Fruity coconut. Bright hoppiness in a lemony fashion. Mildly plasticy finish. Good mouthfeel, smooth carbonation. Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 15, 2005 Bright golden colour. Slightl phenolic note, with hints of toasty, bready malt. Slightly cidery, tart. A flawed brew. Tigg loved it but I missed the appeal altogether. Call it a lesson in palate sensitivities. tiggmtl (4179), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jul 14, 2005 Mild sweet and grainy aroma with light earthy, floral, herbal hops. Clear golden coloured body is topped by a low but lasting white head that leaves some lace. Grainy, bready malt flavour with herbal, floral hops and mild finishing bitterness. Refreshing light body with moderate carbonation. Sampled at the brewpub with Oakes, Rastacouere and Ungstrup.
