duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Nov 19, 2006 Bottle. Very sweet. Unbrewed malt sweetness. Horribly sweet, with some alcohol showing. Raw and overly sweet, hard to right to much else about this one, not very pleasant. harrisoni (5121), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 15, 2006 Draught at Brugs Beertje. Gold, lasting white head. Cardboardy, sweet, may have not been completely brewed out. Bit of pukey malt. Bit thin in mouth, sweetish end. Not great. chris_o (4405), London, Greater London, England May 8, 2008 Bottle at De Garre, April 2008. Hazy amber colour. Sweetish fruit dominates. Clean (a bit too clean perhaps) and rather fizzy (definitely too fizzy). Not particularly impressive.
JorisPPattyn (4275), Antwerpen, Belgium Jul 3, 2006 Orange, (cold) haze; small whitish head. Spicey nose, pepper, ginger, a bit of fruit but also a lot of cardboard. Carboard! again in full strength in the taste, even a bit oxydized, old paper. Even compensating for the cold serving temperature, this is a bit underwhelming. Light to medium bodied. Not my taste. If you like stale bread... jbrus (4117), Delft, Netherlands Oct 7, 2007 Bottle@Home. Not much aroma, some apple and citrus hops. Yellow color, off-white head, fair lace. Very malty for a blond ale, sweet, hint of citrus and apple, light bitterness. On the sweet side but easy going.
