Browny orange, small head. Slightly estery aroma. Some solvent in the taste, maybe something phenolic. Lively carbonation, but not harsh. Simply malty body, no real highlights. Not full bodied enough for a bock. mabjork (576), Vasa, Finland Jan 7, 2006 Draught. Light yellow / goldish, with minor white head. A sour hopsy scent with hints of malt. You can taste the alcohol and the sweetness from the hops. It has a sweet after taste. TBone (5116), Pori, Finland Jan 7, 2006 Draught @Koulu
A bit hazy orange, small crwamy off-white head. Light bock-like malty-caramelly aroma with notes of hops and "Koulu yeast". Malty, slightly alcoholic, typical Koulu flavors in the side. Nice bock with some hops thrown in. Jukkabro (2405), Tampere, Finland Jan 2, 2006 Dark yellow colored, slightly hazy appearance. Medium sized light yellow head. Sweet, mild caramel and alcohol in aroma. Medium bodied. Sweetness, caramel, medium alcohol and mild hops in flavor. Dry aftertaste with biting hops and lasting alcohol. rsmeds (190), Turku, Finland Oct 21, 2005 Draught.
Hazy, deep golden colour, with small white head.
Sweet, yeasty aroma, with a bit of hoppy bitter in the background.
Smooth palate. Yeasty sweet, somewhat fruity aroma. Bitter finish with quite a lot of alcohol in aftertaste.
Quite nice bock, but the alcohol and bitter grow a bit tiring on the second pint.
