The second beer at the Modry Abbe blind tasting.
Light hazy golden coloured, medium sized white head that went away slowly. Malty, light hoppy and fruity with notes of butterscotch. Moderate bitter finish. Easy drinkable and refreshing.

Aug 11, 2008 Cloudy golden with a firm white head. Aroma has malt, herbal and grassy hops, and a slight note of vegetables. Sweetish with a great hop flavour and clean malt. Full body and bitter finish.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/28/08) Draught at a blind tasting at Modrý Abbé in Klatovy. Clear golden with a medium beige head. Aroma is quite malty with light butterscotch and some hoppy notes. Sweetish flavor with bready notes turns to hoppy bitterness, quite grassy, with hints of metal. Light to medium-bodied. Not bad.

Aug 8, 2008 Draught (@ Modrý Abbe): Golden, a bit unclear, quite firm fluffy head with a little lace; sweet pale malt, some straw and delicate Saaz hops in the nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet taste, light bodied, but not watery at all; sweet pale malt in the hoppy-bitter finish. Very good, well balanced Bohemian Pilsener........

Aug 7, 2008 Blind tasting nr. 2 - at Modrý Abbé. Clear yellow - big white head. Aroma of meat. Taste: straw, hay, soapy, cardboard, light sweetness, light metallic, meat.

Aug 5, 2008 (Draught) Pours golden with a stable head. The aroma is of grassy and floral hops with bready and cracker-like malt. Undertones of hay and elder. Light to medium sweet and medium hoppy on the nose. The flavour is floral, grassy, bready, hay-ish and cracker/cookie-like. Some butterscotch. The mouthfeel is clean and tight with a soft profile. Light to medium bodied.
