dirkbreedveld (222), Netherlands Nov 29, 2007 Overall an good flavoured beer. It’s light in alcohol so very drinkable. First it’s mainly sweet roasted malts, but the aftertatse is dry, and delicate bitter.
JK54B (269), Finland Aug 19, 2008 Red brownish colour. Pale brown head. Some hints of syrup and malts in the nose. Maltiness and licorice aromas in the taste. A mild and a bit sweet taste. A 0.5l can from local shop. Marsiblursi (1378), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 3, 2008 (Draught) Pours very dark reddish brown. The aroma is malty and a medium to full sweet with notes of brown sugar, raisins, buttery fudge and cookies alongside some hints of hops (maybe a touch of grass and herbs). The flavour is medium sweet with tones of dark, sugary fudge alongside grassy and earthy hops. The finish is hop dryish with burned sugar/caramel sweetness. The mouthfeel is light crisp. Light to medium bodied. Unholy_Brewing (286), Melbourne, Australia Jul 31, 2008 ...bottle. Nice dark beer, with an off-white, lasting head. Smooth, malty, grainy, goes down well. No overpowering alcohol taste, which is not typical of the style. Slightly sweet, but not over the top, balanced by roasted malt with a nice smooth finish, and a hint of hops. Surprisingly good, but overpriced due to the low alcohol content. dunkpigen (274), Kolding, Denmark Jul 29, 2008 Pours beautyful nutty-golden with a nice big offwhite head. Aroma is yeasty, hoppy and slightly roasted. It is very malty sweet and without carbonation - almost caramelised... bager (2027), Copenhagen N, Denmark Jul 28, 2008 On tap @ The Military Club, Plzen. Brown in colour with a medium sized head. Malty with notes of sugar, grain and hops.
