| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 20, 2009 Bottle. Sweet berry and caramel malt aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head and nice lacing. Sweet caramel malt with a moderate hops flavor. Hops not as dominant as many Czech pilsners but easy drinking - an excellent session beer. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 12, 2009 Can. Golden, firm foamy white head. A bit grainy and alcoholic nose, hint of herbal notes, fruitiness and metal. Feels stronger than it’s ABV. Flavor has slight licorice-like herbs, mellow maltiness, a tad chewy even, some metal and hint of apples. I could easily finish a can of this, something I can’t really say about most of these similar bulky "pilsners".
