Commercial Description:
Has a smoothly bitter taste, a soft malt and hops scent and sparkles perfectly. This highly malted beer is considered to be an excellent lager both at home and abroad

Bottle@WetherspoonsWembley. Light grainy aroma. Pale golden colour, white head, good lace. Sweetish, light bitter lager. Refreshing, easy going.

50cl bottle. Deep golden body, white foam. Clean, crisp, nice hint of floral hops with a firm bitterness to finish. One of the better Czech pils i’ve come across.

500mL can from LCBO. Not a bad pilsener, but not my favourite by far. Pours golden with a lasting white head. Nose is honey with some grass. Creamy body, malty sweetness, with some light hops. Clean finish.

[500ml bottle at the Back of Beyond, Reading] Deep gold with a large, off-white head. Moderate carbonation - the bubbles somehow got up my nose and felt quite uncomfortable! Has a lovely deep malty aroma and flavour - of Horlicks and malted milk biscuits rather than beer malt. Despite the mellow malt, there were enough hops to my the beer very crisp and refreshing, with a citrus tang in the aftertaste. Possibly the best golden lager I’ve ever had.

Cheap drinking, but of a reasonable standard. Smooth malt body with a slightly floral finish. Extra points for low price. Would drink again.
