Clean, crisp, nice hint of floral hops with a firm bitterness to finish.
One of the better Czech pils i’ve come across.

Nov 12, 2009 500mL can from LCBO. Not a bad pilsener, but not my favourite by far. Pours golden with a lasting white head. Nose is honey with some grass. Creamy body, malty sweetness, with some light hops. Clean finish.

Nov 5, 2009 [500ml bottle at the Back of Beyond, Reading] Deep gold with a large, off-white head. Moderate carbonation - the bubbles somehow got up my nose and felt quite uncomfortable! Has a lovely deep malty aroma and flavour - of Horlicks and malted milk biscuits rather than beer malt. Despite the mellow malt, there were enough hops to my the beer very crisp and refreshing, with a citrus tang in the aftertaste. Possibly the best golden lager I’ve ever had.

Oct 24, 2009 Cheap drinking, but of a reasonable standard. Smooth malt body with a slightly floral finish. Extra points for low price. Would drink again.

Sep 24, 2009 500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear gold with a good-sized frothy, white head. Grass and a slight hint of corn in the nose. Sweet fruity flavour with biscuit and grass. Crisp finish; fine carbonation. Not bad, although the aroma really threw me.
