A boring pils compared to the rest of what’s being offered from the Czech Republic. Soft, sweeteish, not remarkable in any way - but not bad ain any way, either.

Aug 14, 2008 Canned. Thanks ekstedt! Grainy, bready and slightly nutty aroma. A hint of DMS. Taste is clean and soft with some grainy maltiness. Medium bitterness and very dry finish.

Aug 10, 2008 Can (50 cl) from a Czech gas station near the northern German border. Clear deep golden, medium white head. Bready malt aroma - slightly artificial feeling - with some carboard and butterscotch. Nice bitter finish.

Aug 9, 2008 (Bottle) Pours clear golden with a big white head. The aroma is of grassy hops and grainy malt. Some chemical undertones. The flavour is of grassy and light peppery hops with a light grainy malt backbone. Some paper-ish notes in the finish. The mouthfeel is quite clean and light crisp. Light sweet and light to medium bitter. Light to medium bodied.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/27/08) Bottle outside Vinarna Hrozen in Plzen. Aroma has some malt, a hints of graininess and light cardboards. Sweetish flavor at first and a slightly bitter finish with some metal. Light to medium body.

Aug 4, 2008 [Archive] Light golden with little, rough foam and some lacing. The aroma is sweet, too sweet, but just perhaps a hint of Saaz. Sweetish and thin in the mouth.
