Bottle from the Coop in Davis, CA. Poured a copper color with a red hue. Smelled of caramel and toffee. Sweet and malty with limited hops. Smooth and creamy on the palate. Great beer for only $1.99 a bottle.

Bottle from the Coop in Davis, CA. Against halogen the pour is a clear ruby copper. The head is three-fingers and finely bubbled tan. Aroma is really toffee. Sort of medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is roasted caramel/toffee. Rarely has a beer so suggested toffee to me. Might be some hop hiding in here, but it’s on the minor side. There is some bitter on the tongue sides, and I think it’s building with time. Decent beer.

Pours a cloudy dark amber with a generous beige head and a rich toffee aroma. The flavor is sweet and creamy caramel malt and is rather nutty. Not bad.

22 July at Cardinal. Hazy brown. Way too sweet for my preference. Same problem with the other polish beers I have tasted too actually.

500ml bottle (Carrefour, Warsaw)
Deep amber, healthy head. Sweet bready worty grainy aroma. Very sweet malty body. Over-the-top caramel, but still nowhere near as sticky as US ambers, say. The second one I had was fruitier as well, and had some marmitey yeastiness, in particular in the finish. If they could rein in the sweetness, it would be a damn tasty brew. (6:4:6+:3:13=3.2+)

Bottle from Seattle. Thin head. Dark amber. Light spice, caramel, wood and yeast aroma. Sweet sticky toffee flavour. Half bottle is OK. A bit heavy for long drinking. An interesting spice around the edges is kind of cool
