This is a really nice, tasty,. full-bodied Czech pilsner. It is dark gold, very faintly hazy, with a medium, off-white head steadily shrinking to a thin top with a little lace. The aroma is malty grain with a bit of breas, lemon, sulphur, pine, honey, and hay. The taste is herbal hay, grain, honey, bread, lemon. it has a spritxy feel inear the finish and is a bit sweet with a lightly dominant, complex bitterness. It’s extremely tasty and fullbodied yet very easy to drink.

Pale for a doppel, sharply sweet aroma. One sided and the one side I get isn’t great. Sweet, bland, disappointing.

Golden color, moderate head with some lacing and retention. Aroma is grain, bread, grass. Fairly malty, no idea what you’d consider this. Bohemian Pils? Sure why not.

2008 Bottle - Pours a deep tan, small white head. Sweet aroma, rich malt, caramel yeast flavour, pleasant bitterness, very good find and would definitely drink again...

Golden body with a small white head. Malty honey and caramel nose. Sweet up front with a bready finish, light dried apricot note, soft hops. Way to mild for a doppelbock, more of a sweet helles.
