Thin to medium bodied, clean and smooth with a snappy bitterness and a semi-sweet malt backbone. Very good lager. Thank you psychprof. Superstar (45), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Hazy, dim and with earthy, salty aromas this thing is wild. Packed full of lemon and other citrus, cracker and full and hefty hop flavors -- this gives a nod to hop power while still preserving balance. Very nice. urbnhautebourg (974), Annapolis, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 3, 2003 Why do I like this brewery so much? There's something very amateur and completely unpolished about them. Are their lagers 'rustic', or just 'odd'. I don't know. But I love them. This one is just as wierd as the others--it has the Kraftbrau thin sweetness, the Kraftbrau grassiness, the Kraftbrau murkiness. I don't think the hops provide enough support for this brew. The finish is rather limp. Who cares? I like the brewery, I like this beer and I like the fellow who sent it. Thanks, Psych Prof. daboskabouter (1470), Fergus, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 18, 2003 Slightly hazy golden color. Nose is fruity with a touch of malt. The body has plenty of malt bite accentuated by a fruity hoppiness. Finishes balanced with a touch of alcohol and a slight bitterness. A fairly nice lager, I wonder if this brewery has stepped up their processes in the last year? Silphium (2152), Haslett, Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 18, 2003 Poured golden orange, with a thin off-white ring of foam. Spicy hops and a touch of toast in the light aroma. Flavor was very crisp and hoppy, with cerealy, biscuity malts in the front followed by grassy, spicy hops and a touch of light fruitiness. Impeccably refreshing. A good session lager from the folks at Kraftbrau, and very reminiscent of some of the brews produced by O'Fallon in Missouri. PhillyBeer2112 (2089), Orange Park, Florida, USA

Lightly carbonated and roundly sweet. Balanced mildly sweet finish. Almond presence is very light in the flavor, but is still there.
