ChristianScheffel (2318), Odense, Denmark Oct 16, 2008 Deep amber with a small off-white head. Bready malt aroma with fruity notes. Rich and sweet fruity flavour with a hint of honey. Papsoe (11073), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 11, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) courtesy of Myrup. Pours a slightly hazy dark reddish amber with a dense and lively beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel and fruit. Quite full-bodied, a little low in carbonation with plenty of burned caramel and fruit. Lightly burned malt finish. Lovely. I really don’t get the low ratings this beer is getting, it’s terribly unfair. 310808 oh6gdx (6460), Vaasa, Finland Sep 23, 2008 Bottled@EBF2008. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, hops and some mild fruity and leathery notes. Flavour is leather, grass and some mild hops. Quite dry palate. Rather boring imho. omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 17, 2008 ++Bottled at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen.++ Brownish amber, no head.
