Commercial Description:

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown to deep orange with a lacing white head. Mild roasted malt with a light alcohol presence. Flavour is solid caramelish malt flavoured with a vague biterness coming through and a minor spice note. Bitter finish yet with a minor smooth chocolate presence.

Deep amber with a small off-white head. Bready malt aroma with fruity notes. Rich and sweet fruity flavour with a hint of honey.

(Bottle 50 cl) courtesy of Myrup. Pours a slightly hazy dark reddish amber with a dense and lively beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel and fruit. Quite full-bodied, a little low in carbonation with plenty of burned caramel and fruit. Lightly burned malt finish. Lovely. I really don’t get the low ratings this beer is getting, it’s terribly unfair. 310808

Bottled@EBF2008. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, hops and some mild fruity and leathery notes. Flavour is leather, grass and some mild hops. Quite dry palate. Rather boring imho.

++Bottled at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen.++ Brownish amber, no head. Caramelly with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel the flavour conisits of toffee, caramel and nothing else. Slight salty bitterness. A lifeless crystal malt brew.
