Kragelund Sint Niklaas Jule Dubbel

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a very cloudy orangey brown with a lively, bubbly, beige head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma of dried fruit, yeast and alcohol. A bit too heavy in carbonation - I get huge, vulgar champagne bubbles in my mouth. The body is solid with accents of fruit, raisins and yeast before a surprisingly hoppy finish that also contains quite some alcohol. 221207

50 cL bottle, thanks to Papsoe. Pours hazy orange with a fully diminished head. Mild spiced aroma. Flavour is mild spiced, solid yeasty and caramel solid flavoured. Finish holds a solid hops flavour on top of a mild spiced malt note.

Bottle. Hazy orange red coloured with an off white head. Perfumed aroma of fruits and spices. Sweet and spicy flavour of malts, caramel and hops.

Bottle. A muddy red brown beer with a fast dissapering big beige head. The aroma is of caramel malt, yeast and rubber. The taste is sweet and of caramel malt and fruits. Medium body with a sweet finish.

Bottled (Thanks Papsoe!). Hazy deep amber brown colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits, caramel, toffee and mild grass. Flavour is yeast, some caramel, licorice, raisins and mild notes of alcohol and grassyness. As it warms up the grassyness become more evident.
