Jun 16, 2007 bought at the brewery, one of the last sets containing a wooden presentation box, 2 glasses and a bottle of the beer. Dark amber colour, tiny head, very intensive malty aroma. Oily consistence. Very malty flavour, sweet, with hints of roasted malt, fruity and strong.

Jul 3, 2006 Bottle (Number 0038/2006): Deep amber coloured with reddish spots, small, quite firm tanned head; sweet, vinous and fruity/estery nose with a faint touch of alcohol; sweet flavour, full bodied; sweet, vinous and fruity finish, again, sweet-bitter aftertaste, a bit warming. Well hidden alcohol, well balanced strong brew !
