Commercial Description:
A super clean HefeWeisen fermented with German HefeWeisen yeast for a perfect balance of clove and banana overtones. No Yeast remnants. You’ll enjoy looking at this beer as much as tasting it: put it in a glass though--both will be easier!

Bottle; poured a dark yellow/gold color. It really didn’t look too filtered. Medium to large creamy head. Aroma was surprisingly nice; banana, sweet malt, apple, fruit/alcohol. Some vanilla notes as well. Flavor was not quite of the same quality for me. Pretty sweet flavor, a bit too messy. Banana, bready and yeasty. For the style, it did pack in more flavor than most. Not great overall, but a pretty good version of the style.

Bottle from La Bodega. Strong banana aroma, some spicy clove and yeast notes, a hint of wheat. Pours orange golden and it didn’t look like they got everything out of it as it was hazy. Strong banana flavors, sweet and fruity, a little spicy and some alcohol as well, which is obviously odd for style.A little wheat bread. Lingering sweetness. Not as bad as I thought it would be looking at the stupid ass label.

Bottle from la bodega. Clear golden with champagne bubbles and a fizzy white head. Banana clove bread and grain aroma and taste with a sticky sweetness.

22oz bottle from La Bodega in Riverside: Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with a wispy-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of lots of sweet sugary banana yeasty esters and a touch of clove spice. Starts with good fullness for the style and some sugary fruity banana character with a mild clove spice before a doughy yeasty finish. A little heavy on the banana character, but otherwise not a bad attempt at a higher abv version of the style.

22oz bottle. Dark orange/yellow pour, almost light brown. Lots of bananas in the nose, almost like said banana was dipped in some sort of alcohol. Taste is pretty good, more bananas some light lemon with a nice little punch. Better than expected.
