Nestled in the hills on the west side of Lake Mohawk is the upper lake section of the reservation, known as the Alpine, for its beautiful stand of evergreens. When the sun sets over the western hills, and atmospheric conditions are just right, the east side of the lake is treated to a breathtaking, almost surreal amber aura. Old timers have taken to calling this spectacle the "Alpine Glow." You can enjoy this natural display of color right from the comfort of Krogh's interior while drinking our red ale. Alpine Glow Red Ale has a creamy, soft texture characterized by a very pleasant malt-hop interaction, a generous foam bounces atop.
