A wonderful full-bodied Baltic porter. Bitter aroma with soft notes of rye bread, fruit and berries. The flavour is powerful and roasty yet smooth and round.

Red-tinged very dark brown. Aroma shows brown sugar, nuts...toasty, minerally and woody all at once. Malty, toasty body is reminiscent of brown malt (one of my favourites). Nice.

almost black, beige head. aroma of soy, butter, chocolate, roast and mild berry-ish fruit. very smooth and robust mothfeel. coffee, rye bread, fruit jelly, hard candy witha roasty coffee finish. very nice.

Dark brown/almost black w/ burgundy hue. Dark beige head. Big roasty, chocolately aroma w/ cherries, figs, & olives(!?). Thick, sweet (syrup) feel. Robust roasty, chocolately flavour w/ rich coffee, cherries, figs, &, yes, olives (but in a good way). To echo Doug--Superb!

Dark brown, mahogany, cherry wood. Malt main frame, rich black chocolate in background. Lighter at front but then it hits with superb roastiness, chicory and rich coffee (a la Paradiso). Very well constructed, bravo brewmaster, very smart. One of the best Baltic’s...

Strong licorice nose, an especially bitter aroma (my first 10 for aroma.) Ruby, with small toffee head. Coffee, candy flavour, followed by more coffee. Fairly full bodied. Superb! Thanks for bringing this one back Radek!
