| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 6, 2005 The Lure: Classy berries wrapped in roastiness. Dry vinosity hugging sweet molasses. Elaborate yet sagacious.
The Festivities: Fruitiness is marvelously blended into a cream with the roasted malt flavor and bitterness. Some dryness ensues, but caramel maltiness is prolonged into a confident position. A baltic porter of the utmost refinement.
Transcendence: A castle on a cliff, piercing the fog. Radek Kliber (3999), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Lighter at front but then it hits with superb roastiness, chicory and rich coffee (a la Paradiso). Very well constructed, bravo brewmaster, very smart. One of the best Baltic’s... daboskabouter (1470), Fergus, Ontario, Canada
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 13, 2003 Very dark auburn color, almost red. The nose is sweet, brown sugar and malt. Touches of smoke and hints of fruit in the nose as well. The body is big! Chocolate, very roasty and finishing appetizingly hoppy. Big beer, big baltic, just the way I like it.
