Lasting moderate-to-large white sticky head covering a slightly oily-hazy gold body...grassy-sweet nose is a might musty and old (no date on the thankfully brown glass bottle), bit perfumy and floral....nicely balanced typical pils flavor profile, sweet maltiness against fairly solid grassy hops, but slightly disfigured by an odd combination of rusty metallic character and spoiled veggies...I think this bottle may just be too old, the quality overall seems to be there; probably worth drinking closer to the source. I can’t remember much of last night, but my notes on this are, "Very much a generic run-of-the-mill beer". Fairly sure it was enjoyable as far as generic beers go. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 16, 2005 Golden yellow in color with a frothy white head. Aroma is malt with slightly floral notes. Taste is clean with a slight bitterness in the finish. Nothing that great about it, but it sure went down fast. SuIIy (1453), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jun 21, 2005 Bottle. Pours light golden with a foamy white head. Nose is kinda lemony with a malty, thickness to it. Taste is watery, rancid bitterness, rain watery. Not a drain pour, but not worth a second round. beastdog75 (337), Brick, New Jersey, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 10, 2005 Nothing real enticing with this beer. Pours a yellowish color. Neutral malty smell, has somewhat of a dry straw flavor to it. Crisp and drinkable, but a standard fizzy yellow beer. Cornfield (4946), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

The smell was slighly "off," meaning there was a bit of the skunk about. Not a bad crisp malt flavor, somewhat sweet, with a hint of bitterness.
