Looking all the world like the Kronebourg you can depend on my good buddy DB serves up one of these little gems. I think to myself this beer is crap, some dodgy shop keep has left this in the sun for a year and then tried to sell it. Its only after some thorough investigation of the bottle is it that I realize not only do I have a different beer on my hands but it’s a rate as well. Well I can tell you the Spirits lifted (pardon the pun). Crap to be sure but when it’s an unexpected rate you can see the upside.
Poor golden fizzy with crappy ethanol. Very poor.

Oct 12, 2004 by far the worst thing ive put in my mouth. what were the french thinking? this stuff is retch. its a medeoaker beer with rum in it. the lable isnt different enough from the regular 1664 so i accendently bought it. big mistake. ugg worthless, STAY AWAY!

Dec 8, 2003 Golden color. Strange artificial and sweet/smokey aroma (Adelscott…), soapy. Some sweetness, lemonade, hop, smoked malt… Strange concept.

Aug 6, 2003 clear golden colour, fine head and a nice lace, strong aroma of cinnamon, cane sugar and lemon, sweet and flat, the finish is citric with notes of rhum - couldn't the French stop brewing such bullshit ?
