The head leaves a decent amount of lacing. The aroma is yeasty with some lemon. I taste buttery sweetness in the malt with some distant grass. Cavie (1369), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Sadly it has fallen away badly. It is now one of the worst, if not the worst. I’ve lost count of the amount of cans thrown over the ground lately. A good sign that this is now a chav lager, nothing french about it apart from the name. This is woeful and full of chemicals and leads to a hangover. Papillon (172), Sudbury, Ontario, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Feb 21, 2009 500 mL can. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head that seems to want to stick to the sides and covers the surface with a scanty film, leaving lace on the sides as it is sipped. The aroma is wheat with a floral-fruity quality about it and a light hint of honey and a little bit of a skunky note but not too pronounced. The taste is light malt with an accent of honey with a very light aftertaste of honey, light-bodied but not watery. The hops offer a whisper at best. Overall pretty clean finish. A nice beer to visit but I won’t stay with this one. ghostmonkey (182), budd lake, New Jersey, USA
