| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Oct 1, 2008 Bottle. Poured pale yellow with a thick foamy white head. Strong maizey, sheepy, lagery aroma, then a huge waft of skunk. Weak watery flavour, very little body, very little flavour. Metallic finish. Maybe, if they used whole hops instead of extract, and left out the maze, they’d have a halfway decent lager jbuzz (659), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Appearance: Pours a clear, goldish body with a small, white head. Splotchy lacing.
Smell: Light pale maltiness with a bit of doughiness to it. Mild, musty skunk notes.
Taste: Light pale malts with a mild, restrained sweetness and a hint of dough and grits. Faint, brief traces of lemon and apple fruitiness. Floral hops with a light bitterness. Dry finish with a hint of the alcohol within.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: While 1664 isn’t quite 1337, it’s better than a sizable portion of the endless parade of Euro lagers available. Bontus (301), Waasmunster, Belgium
