New chiled verion on tap in County Hotel, North Berwick. Citrus comes through, especially on tap. Bottled not too far behind. I hate the cans immensely. MrAleman (111), Wiltshire, England

Typical lager tasted and apperance - quite a strong flavour compared to some lagers but no real surprise given its 5% ABV. I’m afraid I cannot be drinking Kronenbourg again it is well known for its hangover effects and having quite a lot of chemicals in so I would recommend avoiding this beer whenever possible. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 20, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours an effervescent clear straw color with a good white head. Aroma is light and somewhat sweet, with a smell of malt, earth, floral hops, and an odd skunkiness. Taste is fairly full, with a malty body predominated by a mingling of sweet hops and earthy grains and yeast. Thoroughly average overall, and actually rather good for the style. zebracakes (1214), Washington DC, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear yellow, white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy skunky.
Flavor is hoppy, crisp and watery. Nothing offensive here. This is completely drinkable for the genre. In fact, I could probably sling back a few of these in the hot summer sun, or the bleak darkness of the winter. llbjr77 (72), Largo, Florida, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Another good drinking, summer lager. Goes down smooth with a taste of hops but not overbearing. Light, golden in color with a slight head. Much better than bud, but in the same class. Steinface (77), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Draft in NYC. Aroma very subtle, slightly floral. Pours a light golden color, somewhat appetizing. No real discernable taste, but seeing as how so many other pale ales taste so bad, thats not necessarily a negative. Palate was smooth. Not a bad beer but nothing too special, very easy to drink.
