zebracakes (1214), Washington DC, USA Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear yellow, white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy skunky.
Flavor is hoppy, crisp and watery. Nothing offensive here. This is completely drinkable for the genre. In fact, I could probably sling back a few of these in the hot summer sun, or the bleak darkness of the winter. llbjr77 (72), Largo, Florida, USA Aug 17, 2008 Another good drinking, summer lager. Goes down smooth with a taste of hops but not overbearing. Light, golden in color with a slight head. Much better than bud, but in the same class. Steinface (77), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 15, 2008 Available everywhere in France. Like the French Budweiser I suppose. Tastes a bit better, much more tolerable beer. rugbydude05 (280), Kew Gardens, New York, USA Aug 11, 2008 Draft in NYC. Aroma very subtle, slightly floral. Pours a light golden color, somewhat appetizing. No real discernable taste, but seeing as how so many other pale ales taste so bad, thats not necessarily a negative. Palate was smooth. Not a bad beer but nothing too special, very easy to drink. futre7 (10), Taipei, Taiwan Aug 11, 2008 Love this, it gets a ripping by many , but its got a strong bitter taste matched by few lagers. Clean, crisp, perhaps a little skunky but I love it, I cant get it in Asia anywhere. gary07734 (391), Tyne & Wear, England Aug 10, 2008 Lager look, lager smell, lagest taste, tons of carbonation, a bit like pop really.
Dull, standard lager. kubilai (33), , Quebec, Canada Aug 9, 2008 Beurk. Cheap lager. Clear and dull aroma and taste. The European pendant of Budweiser... RuneStumo (495), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway Aug 9, 2008 28.09.2007, 0,5l on tap at the Lamb and Flag, London. The colour is golden yellow. Aroma and texture is thin and the beer does not smell much.
