Borresteijn (1347), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 6, 2008 Bottle, in France. ABV states 5,5%. Clear golden, white head. Taste is sharp, prickly, hops and malts, a bit skunk. More tasteful than their regular pilsner, but still not very good. BillKismet (1894), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 5, 2008 Golden blond with light foamy top. Easy grainy aroma with similar flavor. Dull and dryish finish. Okay for a cheap pils. iamheredude (2), Oxford, Ohio, USA does not count Aug 4, 2008 It’s a bit better than the terrible beers that are consumed @ college parties but as someone who has tried it in France, it’s still not that great. If you do find yourself over in France though, it is a cheaper option especially in Paris where everything is over-priced. puboflyons (589), New Hampshire, USA Aug 2, 2008 From the 12 fl.oz green bottle. Pours golden-yellow with a good amount of fizzy white head. Aroma of malts and sweet hops. Medium mouth feel. Corn and wheat in the taste. The matls in the flavor are subtle. The overall experience is something very crisp and clean. It looks like I liked it better than other raters here. robforbes (1083), Bremerton, Washington, USA Jul 30, 2008 pours a clear pale yellow with a medium size head, some lacing.
smell is skunky, grain, silage.
taste is weak, watery, corn, grainy, nothing really there. goozen (1061), Leiden, Netherlands Jul 30, 2008 Bottle 0,33ltr: Golden Alsace lager with an slightly grassy taste but its thirstquenching and thats why the great brwewers brewed this kind of beers. iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland Jul 28, 2008 Fuckin’ rubbish. Drank it once all night when I was a student and ended up on my arse and being sick all day next day. Light weight you say? Shite beer, I say. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA Jul 23, 2008 2008. On tap in TX. A straightforward beer--but a good beer nonetheless. Simple lager with hints of wheat and lemon. Cloudy yellow color with an impressive head--almost looks like the foam on a well-made cappuccino. I was surprised by the simplicity and goodness of this beer.
