From a bottle poured a golden clear color with a fair amount of head. Flavor was kind of skunky with a quick finish.

The only French beer served at Disneys Epcot. Pours light gold with a thick frothy head. Musty, yeast, malt aroma. Taste is crisp clean and a little malty. Good for a hot day, but nothing special.

Yes, it’s a lager beer--golden body, big lacy white head, straight-ahead hoppy flavor. And, as lagers go, it’s refrershingly satifying.

On tap at the Dog & Duck Pub. Pours clear light golden in color with a light head. Smell is light malt, and a touch of yeast. Taste is crisp, lightly hoppy and slightly citrusy, perhaps. A touch on the slightly sweet side, but still crisp and refreshing with a very subtle fruity edge to it. Not bad at all on a hot day.

Disappointing overall. This beer pours a transparent gold color with a tiny white head. It had a ricey/ lagery aroma with a taste to match. Disappointing overall, tried it based on a waitress recommendation after enjoying a Hacker-Pschorr and asking for something similar. Note: just because it’s been brewed since 1664, does not mean it is exceptional.

0.33 l bottle. Golden color with small head. Mild malty, herbal, hoppy, honeyish and lemony aroma. The flavor is mainly malty yet fairly dry. There is some notes of herbal hops, low bitterness and nice hints of peach and lemon. Slightly better bulk lager.

In a park in Paris, shared with friends. A pretty standard lager, but with a soft mouthfeel and a light hoppy taste. Not bad at all for a lager
