markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA Jun 22, 2008 Disappointing overall. This beer pours a transparent gold color with a tiny white head. It had a ricey/ lagery aroma with a taste to match. Disappointing overall, tried it based on a waitress recommendation after enjoying a Hacker-Pschorr and asking for something similar. Note: just because it’s been brewed since 1664, does not mean it is exceptional. Miksu (2187), Jyväskylä, Finland Jun 15, 2008 0.33 l bottle. Golden color with small head. Mild malty, herbal, hoppy, honeyish and lemony aroma. The flavor is mainly malty yet fairly dry. There is some notes of herbal hops, low bitterness and nice hints of peach and lemon. Slightly better bulk lager. TrefwoordPunk (549), Leiden, Netherlands Jun 11, 2008 In a park in Paris, shared with friends. A pretty standard lager, but with a soft mouthfeel and a light hoppy taste. Not bad at all for a lager norsedoc (162), USA Jun 4, 2008 At a brasserie in Paris. I’ve had this in the US, always better in the original country. Not saying much though. Yellow with little white head. Pale lager, nothing special. Quenches thirst, but nothing else. sneezey (110), Hackettstown, New Jersey, USA Jun 2, 2008 In Paris - sligthly drier than some other pale lagers. But typical, low on the malt, more hops, and even more yeast. Comes out slightly bitter overshadowing a hint of sweetness. Bit watery. Average at best. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA May 31, 2008 Bottle. Pale gold pour with a white head. Aroma is the typical musty hop smell of a european lager with a taste that follows suite. Not very good. Baadstorp (55), Århus, Denmark May 28, 2008 a really nice fresh pale lager, the combination of barley, maize and wheat is really good, nice bitterness.
