Not saying much though. Yellow with little white head. Pale lager, nothing special. Quenches thirst, but nothing else. sneezey (110), Hackettstown, New Jersey, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 2, 2008 In Paris - sligthly drier than some other pale lagers. But typical, low on the malt, more hops, and even more yeast. Comes out slightly bitter overshadowing a hint of sweetness. Bit watery. Average at best. | 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | May 31, 2008 Bottle. Pale gold pour with a white head. Aroma is the typical musty hop smell of a european lager with a taste that follows suite. Not very good. Baadstorp (55), Århus, Denmark
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2008 a really nice fresh pale lager, the combination of barley, maize and wheat is really good, nice bitterness. EFC1878 (292), Manchester, Greater Manchester, England

Overly sweet and lacking enough hop character and not enough body - it really is a beer of last resort. Not as bad as Carlsberg’s other products but it’s not difficult to find something better. Pours a golden-yellow body with a good half inch of nearly-white somewhat rocky head that slowly dissipates clinging to the side of the glass to create some nice lacing. Great looking for a Euro-lager. Smells somewhat sweet, peppery, some cooked vegetable... Tastes sweet, sweet caramel malt, some pepper, hints of hops and DMS/cooked vegetable. The more I have, the better it tastes. Light in body and very drinkable. Definitely could see having a few of these on a hot day, but for the price I’d probably go with something domestic instead.
