kmweaver (2396), Sebastopol, California, USA Nov 4, 2007 12oz bottle, delicately aged by jasonp. Thanks, Jason! Pours a clear, pale yellow color; white head that quickly fades. Slightly skunky at first, corn and sugar in the aroma; not very offensive, just bland. Light-to-medium sugar and mild citrus mouthfeel: bland but drinkable; quick, sugar and citrus finish. Not much here. thomasacross (129), Edina, Minnesota, USA Oct 31, 2007 Bottle. Very average pale lager with faint sweetness, average balance, and pleasant but mild flavor. Nothing to rave or rant about here. Prefer Carlsberg, Moretti, or Kingfisher to this in the import pale lager department. BlackForestCO (819), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Oct 27, 2007 From old notes. Poured from a bottle. Poured a typical yellow color with a minimal white head. Light aroma of corn, wheat, and hops. Flavor is basically the same. Pretty simple and one dimensional, but not horrible. Ok as far as lagers go, but I won’t pay for one. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA Oct 27, 2007 Pours a light golden color with a white head. Aroma is light of wheat, grassiness, and some slight floral hops. Flavor is a little stronger then I expected with wheat, grass, and floral hops. Better then the typical pale lager but still nothing special. sm89walt (433), Norwich, Norfolk, England Oct 27, 2007 Tap - Three Tuns, Canterbury. Golden yellow and clear despite the heavy carbonation. An OK white head. Faint aromas of slightly citric hops. Fresh and crisp bittersweetness and a thirst-quenching finish. At the end of a night out of drinking, I was in the mood for something light and refreshing and this did the job rather well. It’s a simple lager that does what simple lagers are supposed to do. alari (30), London, Greater London, England Oct 25, 2007 Surprisingly good due to the unusual taste given by the wheat malts that form part of the malt structure. Crisp and refreshing. Thin in the mouth but with an attractive sourness and a hint of bite. jnaos (11), Canada Oct 25, 2007 Pale gold yellow colour; toasted barley and yeasty aroma; slightly sweet malt flavour with refreshing, bitter hops in finish; a fairly bland beer, but not bad morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Oct 16, 2007 Single bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville. The suck fest continues as I travel my taste buds to the home of the big white surrender flag, France. Pours a pale gold color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is typical bavarian hops.Taste is bit bland and rather uninteresting. No thanks Frenchies.
