TheBeerGod909 (43), Aurora, Illinois, USA Sep 21, 2007 The bottle makes you think you’re getting something more than you are. Pretty much just a pompous, arrogant miller light. matt7215 (942), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Sep 17, 2007 500 ml can. pours pale yellow with an ave white head. pale lager aromas and flavours well brewed but boring and bland. there its lots of better beers out there. Fin (3376), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Sep 17, 2007 Keg, at a riverside pub (don’t recall name) Wallingford 15-09-07 Can’t believe I had to drink this, yet again another keg only pub! Golden some corn, oh I don’t know this was just boring cold tasteless fizz. strings (361), Sydney, Australia Sep 14, 2007 On tap. For what I assume to be France’s bog standard lager, not too shabby. I’ll take it over Stella. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA Sep 9, 2007 Pours a crystal clear slightly gold with minimal head that leaves a lot of lacing as it drops. Nose is mild with a touch of sweet malt aroma. Flavor is actually pretty decent for a mass produced brew. Has a fair amount of sweet tone to it that lasts long on your tongue but carries a slight touch of body from the malts. The sweet stays on your tongue longer than anything else. Mouthfeel is good. Thick carbonation and a lasting flavor. Drinkability is very high. I could go for these all the time. This one is a surprise for me and I am glad to have 5 more to be drinking. SHANER4 (370), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Sep 5, 2007 Updated: Oct 1, 200712oz bottle - Poured a straw color with a medium size head that faded quickly. Aroma is like smelling a skunks ass, flippin nasty. Flavor was missing, I only could taste grass near the end and not much else. I did pick up a metalic taste also which was not good........it was bad.... Overall this beer was sub par. I would give odor a minus if I could. bhensonb (4182), Woodland, California, USA Sep 4, 2007 Aroma seems a bit biscuity. Not smelling the maize. Orange tinged gold color with a white head that flattened. Medium bodied; creamy carbonation. The flavor is kind of caramel and bread, with some very light hop. The finish is not really dry, has some vegy/grainy taste, and is not that bad, as the hop bitter comes forth to sort that out. sukman69 (14), Canada Aug 28, 2007 I don’t know what happened. I was at this bar, getting kinda sloppy, when I saw her from across the room. She was playing darts with some girlfriends and not doing so well at it. She had great legs and nice small breasts, which I do enjoy. She smiled at me but I quickly looked away, as I am not used to pretty girls taking notice of me. I shyly looked back at her to see if she was still looking. Her eyes dashed to the ceiling, as if to avoid giving her intentions away. Man, this was exciting. After years of wallowing in my own pity and depression I finally got something to be interested in. After a large swig of Kronenbourg I let my eyes search the bar for her again. This time our eyes locked on to each others in a powerful gaze that seemed like it lasted a month. So locked in a trance we were. I rested my jaw on my hand to give her a sign like I was bored and she should come over to my table. Just then, my jerk friend came by and knocked my elbow off the table causing my head to rocket downward, coming to rest with the top of the Kronenbourg right in my damn eye! I had to leave in a hurry after that, and I never saw her again, but the shiner reminds me of the true romance that only a French beer can produce.
