my favourite out of the available mainstream lagers in the uk (budweiser, carling, carlsberg/export, stella, grolsch) a little more character, though not much

Deep gold in color, fizzy white head. Both aroma and flavor are fairly standard pale lager, save for the slightly sour finish. Was not a big fan.

Comes in a ’fancy’ designer bottle. Pours clear and plain golden with a mostly lasting white head. Prominent aroma of light skunky and light grassy hops. Notes of bread and sweetish malts. Some malty and hoppy flavors, but taste is mainly unfresh and slight sour. Fair body. Unbalanced, edgy mouthfeel. Maybe a foul bottle, re-rate pending.

This is actually pretty drinkable - Has nice fluffy white head and fizzy gold colour, leaves good lacing. Aroma a little metallic, malt, flowery hops. Goes down smooth, a little sweet, a little bitterness in the finish. As continental mass-market lagers go this one is pretty good really.

Draught (under license)Bland yellow colouring, fluffy head. Reasonable malt base with a faint hop finish. Typical to style and nothing rave over.

12 oz bottle. Very skunky aroma. A great fresh tasting brew - very smooth as well. I would try this again.

the hop and cereal taste is what makes this pale lager diffrent than the american ones i’ve had. i didn’t much care for the cardboard after taste. wasn’t much of an aroma.
