Canette.

Tastes like Piss. After a winter of drinking quality american beer on draught, returning to the UK and realising this is the type of shit you have to put up with in most places is a sobering experience.

can: Can’t say much about this one. So typical of Euro lagers carried at LCBO. No body, no personality. You need better malts to make these lagers stand out. Forgettable

Bottle. Clear golden, medium white head. Bready malt aroma, virtually no hops. Light to medium bodied, ok mouthfeel. Flavour a bit sweet.

Typical premiun lager, with a weak aroma, taste and coloration. Nothing more to say...

While on holiday in France I felt obliged to try France’s number 1 selling lager. Wish I hadn’t. Very little to say, other than wet cardboard, overly carbonated, low bitterness and zero character.

Bottle. Pale blond pour with a small fizzy white head that’s gone before you know it. Nose is grassy and grainy with light cereal and soft hops. Taste is sweet malts, cereal, grassy notes, Euro hops and buttery biscuit. Body is crisp and dry with moderate carbonation and a light-medium overall feel. Ends with more hops, grassy notes and light cereal.

Some notes of banana, caramel, pears. Rather sweet. Some hints of apple? Low bitterness. Rerate: 5.5 ABV. Tall creamy head. Sweet sulphury nose. Grainy taste with a hint of marzipan, rice and banana. Very sweet. Nice lacework. Metallic finish. Poor.
