jalichio999 (502), Brazil Apr 13, 2007 Updated: Aug 7, 2008Typical premiun lager, with a weak aroma, taste and coloration. Nothing more to say... lagomswedish (213), Umeå, Sweden Apr 13, 2007 While on holiday in France I felt obliged to try France’s number 1 selling lager. Wish I hadn’t. Very little to say, other than wet cardboard, overly carbonated, low bitterness and zero character. TheBeerGod (3143), Newport News, Virginia, USA Apr 10, 2007 Bottle. Pale blond pour with a small fizzy white head that’s gone before you know it. Nose is grassy and grainy with light cereal and soft hops. Taste is sweet malts, cereal, grassy notes, Euro hops and buttery biscuit. Body is crisp and dry with moderate carbonation and a light-medium overall feel. Ends with more hops, grassy notes and light cereal. Allen (1282), Switzerland Apr 10, 2007 Updated: Jan 3, 2009Some notes of banana, caramel, pears. Rather sweet. Some hints of apple? Low bitterness. Rerate: 5.5 ABV. Tall creamy head. Sweet sulphury nose. Grainy taste with a hint of marzipan, rice and banana. Very sweet. Nice lacework. Metallic finish. Poor. Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Apr 9, 2007 Can. Average fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Some lacing. Clear flat body with a pale yellow colour. Aroma was hay, straw, grass, cardboard. Light bodied with a thin texture. Flavour was bitter with some light sweet notes. Light sweet finish. Wim (1278), Turnhout, Belgium Apr 8, 2007 a yellow clear body with amostly diminishing white head and a little apple smell aroma a heavy sweet initial flavor and a average sweet finish jaymobrown (1343), Chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 7, 2007 A lighter color beer. Full body. Thick syrup texture with heavy malts. Some tin can water flavor as well. Mildly bitter. Long finish. A tad too sweet I’d say. Aggie80 (708), Michigan, USA Apr 6, 2007 Clear pour with the slightly medicine/vinegar flavor found in many Eastern Europeans. Not a great beer and certainly not a lot better then the megabrews of the US.
