mrB33r (17), Norway Mar 21, 2007 Its one of the better french commercial beers, but still worse than an average lager. Good for a summer thirst and worth the extra 20cents over the regular Kro. It’s light and mildly refreshing, but drink it before it gets warm. STEPHENDR (478), California, USA Mar 20, 2007 12 oz. bottle- color of straw yellow, with a decent frothy white head - nose of straw , hay , chardonnay , mild hops , skunk , and metallic – taste of yellow corn , straw, wet hay , hops , and acidic/chalkyness- body is light , raw , and medium carbonation– aftertaste of skunk , sweet corn , acidic , and mild hops robinvboyer (1419), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Mar 19, 2007 has this recently wow, not what i recall having in Paris. I think the fact i drank it in downtown Paris on the side of the Sienne River might have made it tatse better. wow, this is skunky, and just plain bad. theviolet (167), New York, New York, USA Mar 16, 2007 Very skunky odor. Sharp initial tste. Bubbly, light mouthfeel. Tastes like roasted potatoes, somewhat smooth. coldbrewky (714), Saugerties, New York, USA Mar 16, 2007 Intense sweet aroma of malt. I must thank my co-worker Queen Elizabeth for bringing me back " a representative sample of French beer. A smooth body with average carbonation and pretty golden color. A very pleasant lager. LordBeamish (144), Boozetown, Ontario, Canada Mar 13, 2007 500 ml can: I was hoping this would be like a fine French wine simple ingredients and simple flavours. While it wasn’t a fine French wine it was a very drinkable beer. Poured a deep golden colour with white head. The nose was of wheat and malts. Wheaty, corny, malty flavourings on the palate finishes with a touch of bitterness. I think this beer would be better minus the corn. Overall an Ok bevie to quench your thirst but nothing outstanding. gnoff (3558), Göteborg, Sweden Mar 8, 2007 (33 cl bottle from Systembolaget) Clear golden color, medium size white head. Acidic malty scent. Malty and very dry taste. Extremely dry chalk like mouthfeel, not nice. Low bitterness. rmussman (905), California, USA Mar 5, 2007 Very similar to regular Kronenbourg, but even worse. It goes down alright but overall, there is not much to it. Its texture is very simple and really just not interesting. Flavor is bland and appearance is very pale.
