Jan 16, 2007 from a 12-oz rocket-shaped bottle - a lager which smells primarily of malt with little else aside from a hint of anjou and green apple. flavor is similar with a surprisingly small presence of hops despite their advertisement of ’aromatic hops from alsace.’ no detractors from this beer - its decent score is because it’s just that there isn’t anything wrong with it.

Jan 2, 2007 Bottle. Pours a straw gold with a medium small but fairly long lasting white head. Thick head for a lager. Very aromatic: sour apples and maybe a little corn and a little honey. Flavor is a bit metallic, orchard stuff (red delicious apples, green pear), and just a touch of honey. Just a little bitter. Its a little chalky right after the first sip. Finishes with malt, corn, and honey. Yea, this is fine. Nothing mind blowing or anything. If i could find a six cheap, I might pick this up. But whatever.
