The true French version of the American Budweiser, Dutch Heineken, Indian Kingfisher, etc..... Every country has one of these hugely marketed, mass-produced beers that are both unoffensive and unsatisfying. It is difficult to enter any establishment in France and not find this beer on tap (oh, shame). This beer is lightly flavored, one-dimensional, and leaves nothing on the palette. Drink it if you have too, but don’t expect much.

Poured clear yellow with tints of gold. The head was thin and white. Aroma was nothing to write home about, malty and musty. The watery palate overrides the weak flavor. Some hoppiness is noted on the finish. Easy to drink. The Coors Light of France.

Product from France with a good maketing support. Yellow color with a nice little head. Nice taste. Good beer .

Bottle at home. Clear yellow with thick white head. Malty aroma and quite balanced malty-bitter taste. Decent lager.

OK, here we go with an interesting green bottle that is not typically shaped. French beer that has a pour that looks like yer typical pale yellow american beer. Initial bubbles that swirl away to a few once in a while. Has an aroma something like a light wit beir. Initial taste hit is unoffensive and palatable. Very little bitterness and it is pretty clean. I think this is better than the other premiums I’ve had, including beck’s, saranac’s and yuengling’s. Finish is good without a bitter linger.

on tap @ fiddlesticks NYC. Fruity overtones and a little watery. Not bad and better than most mass-produced lagers, but I had higher hopes...

Disappointing average tasting lager. Dank musty aftertaste. Not worth repeating. Better than some mainstream swill, but swill, nonetheless.

Enjoyable mass produced Lager. Not a great deal of aroma, but decent appearance with fairly good hop and malt balance.
