RAYBOY01 (1813), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 6, 2006 Decent looking pour...very typical pale macro-kinda lager. Strong corn adjunct flavor, with some mild pale malt and a medium herbal hop bite. Very reminiscent of American macros that are so much easier to get and every bit as disappointing to drink. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA Mar 4, 2006 Had this on-tap at a local bar that was advertising the fact they had it, like it was something special, served in a standard bar pint glass. Made a decent appearance, poured a clear oranged hued straw golden with a large fizzy head that left some ringed sticking. Had a funky, earthy hop with pale grain aroma, a mingling of the scents, a slight lemony yeastiness. Moderate carbonation and a slick, bland light bodied mouth feel, below average drinkability. An earthy hop taste at first, just a slight hop zing on the tongue, a bland graininess, a buried breadiness and a dry sour lemony finish with a little lingering earthiness in the palate.
SSSteve (2045), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Mar 2, 2006 pale yellow color and a medium sized, quickly diminishing, fizzy white head. typical malty lager aroma. typical malty lager flavor. a typical malty lager. Hoss (602), Florida, USA Feb 27, 2006 Pretty pittiful for a mainstream lager. I was unimpressed with the greeen bottle and the skunkiness. theread (51), Wagga Wagga, Australia Feb 24, 2006 This tasted a lot more bland than I recall from years ago, but this seems the same for me for a lot of beers I try these days.
It is a pale golden affair that must be the French equivalent of Foster’s. Just another mass produced beer pushed onto the world by a brewer.
I think it is better than VB, but I cannot be sure.
Cheers folks rsans (125), Pont-Rouge, Quebec, Canada Feb 24, 2006 Not much in terms of both aroma and flavour. Nothing offensive about this beer but very little to distinguish it from any other mass-produced beer. There are far better beers than this one out there. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Feb 22, 2006 Pours a pale yellow color. Aromas of vegtables, grass, and malt. Flavor of dry malt with a hop mild finish.
