zdk (188), New York, USA Jul 12, 2009 On tap. This beer is EVERYWHERE in paris, but it’s not that impressive. Not a bad lager, especially coming from the US, but better ones certainly exist. alepig666 (78), Adelaide, Australia Jul 10, 2009 Pint on tap. Pours a strong piss yellow. Worrying aroma, very chemical, reminded me of dodgy white wine. Taste reminded me of white wine again, and had that revolting filtered piss sort of taste that is the sign of a vastly inferior lager. Finish is disgusting, white wine and Drano chemicals again. Would probably be better in a bottle, but won’t be going out of my way to try it again. Very disappoining, and a ripoff too. Bottled.
Golden with white head. Aroma of straw and malt. Flavor is malty with some hop notes thooper41 (384), Oregon, USA Jul 7, 2009 11.2oz bottle: Apperance is golden brown with white head, aroma is of stale malt, flavor of stale malt, overall just not a good beer. jrallen34 (123), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 6, 2009 Light gold color with a small head.
Decent taste, but nothing special. DeanF (285), Paris, France Jul 1, 2009 Aroma of corn and grains. Taste is an okay blend of corn, hops, some sweetness with a bitter aftertaste. Not bad, not great. rdelljh (117), Pennsylvania, USA Jun 28, 2009 I’m sure KidVenom is right. Imports and can taste much different in the their homeland, due to preservatives and shipping. Unfortunately, this one after being imported tastes like a French Heineken. Smells skunky and lacks any kind of flavor. KidVenom (27), Manitoba, Canada Jun 24, 2009 33 Cl Bottle - Paris, France
I am one of the few who have actually tasted this beer straight from France itself. The stuff that they import to Canada is shit. But the actual local stuff is fantastic. A dark gold colour, with a nice white lasting head. Aroma of citrus, sweet flavor, with a semi-dry finish. A fantastically crafted beer. Please dont give up on it just yet, head over to France and you’ll see what I mean ;)
