Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 9, 2003 A golden beer with an OK head - but it disappears all too quickly. The aroma is nicely hoppy - but a little too faint. The flavor is fresh at first, then a bit maltsweet - but then it turns watery. It gets a little back from the nice bitterness. omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 19, 2002 Golden coloured. Rather sweet, medium bodied, very little hop presence. At best an average lager. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 17, 2005 Updated: Aug 2, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) French version at 5,9% ABV. A truly French classic, remember having this back in the 80’s while visiting my French girlfriend. Oh, sweet memories...
Premium strong lager. Beautiful fully golden colour with a decent head. Well balanced between malts and hops. Good quality lager. 170403
(Bottle 25 cl) Belgian version brewed by Alken-Maas. Pale golden, limited head and unfortunately also limited flavours. Sweet malt and a faint idea of hops. Not bad just very feeble. Typical bland "Premium" lager. 4/2//3/2/8=1,9 020799 yespr (6260), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 12, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a slowly collapsing creamy and white head. Aroma is grassy to cornish, seems dry. Flavour is medium sweet cornish with a mild caramel malt note and a light bitterness into the finish. Good thirst quencer. argo0 (6167), Washington DC, USA Nov 18, 2007 (11/3/07, 33cl bottle, thanks jasonp) Crystal clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, some grass, light skunk. Taste is medium sweet, some corn, fairly inoffensive. Watery light body.
