500 ml can. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head that diminishes to a thin head. Aroma of grainy malt and mild spicy hops. Flavor of grainy malt, adjuncts with mild spicy hops, it’s not dry and there’s no hops bitterness. The body is light to medium and the carbonation is lively, the carbonation is what mostly defines the mouthfeel. On a positive side there are no flaws in this beer, on the negative side it’s a highly carbonated bland beer.

Good hoppy aroma, perhaps a little too sweet with a hint of malts. Pale, golden coloured with a rocky, medium whithe lasting head. Taste is hoppy, bitter, metallic, watery. Smooth and watery palate.

On draught (pression) at Planet Hollywood in Paris. Clear bubbly gold color with a thick and rocky white head. Thin and sticky lacing. The aroma is mildly hoppy. Light and crisp body, with a decent amount of hops in the flavor. The finish is lightly bitter. Better than expected.

Two 300ml bottles at Cafe Rouge in Oxford. Clear golden body with one-finger, white head. Aroma of hard water and light hops. Sweet corn-like flavour with noticeable hops. Thin-medium texture. Standard, food-friendly lager (16.03.2008).

Pours pale gold with a thin white head. Grainy and grassy with a light crisp finish. Nothing horrible about this beer. I got a good bottle so it had no skunking.

Ah, 1664, while I don’t remember it too well, that was sort of the time that Europe was accomplishing nothing and armored knights rode astride trusty steeds. Well, if you’ve been sweating inside plate armor all day, this beer probably tastes pretty decent, but otherwise, they need to think the recipe a tad. Bitter.

Bouteille verte de 330 ml. Arôme: Odeur de moufette et de chapelure (?). Apparence: Belle couleur dorée. Col moyen blanc mousseux qui perdure. Forte carbonisation. Large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de moufette et de céréale. Durée de l’arrière goût moyen. Palette: Corps mince avec une texture huileuse. Carbonisation moyenne. Arrière goût de céréale. (Rating #106)
