| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 9, 2003 Pretty stinky at first whiff (green bottle) but the mercaptans wafted away leaving a light malt and noble hop aroma. Gold but empty looking with thin yet firm head. Surprising body and round sweetness! Underhopped, esp in the finish, leaving a lingering sweetness, while too slight to be cloying, is too much nevertheless. SSSteve (2086), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 28, 2006 draft - Pours yellow with a lightly hoppy aroma. The overall taste is quite mild with light malt and hops flavors that are balanced fairly well but weak. The body is on the thin side and the finish is crisp. I’ve had worse. | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | May 24, 2004 Bottled. Doesn’t possess so much an aroma as an odor, skunky and very bland, perhaps some faint vegetal hop. Pale golden color with a slight, fine head and an almost total lack of lacing. Flavor is dry and somewhat malty with a crisp, lightly bitter finish. Not much depth here, this is basically your quintessential "fizzy yellow beer". Comparable to something like Heineken. charlotte (2036), Vanløse, Denmark
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 6, 2007 Pale yellow has a hoppy feeling and a big white fluffy head who stays long a bit watery but still a o.k beer. bitbucket (2034), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 10, 2006 I was unfamiliar with Kronenbourg, so I figured this would be a German beer. When the waiter at the Alibi Room brought it to the table, he said think of it as the French Budweiser. So, I took my first taste with my expectations recalibrated to the low end of the scale, and surprisingly it’s not all that bad. All the traditional pale lager things are going on here, but there is also an initial hint of creamy sweetness. radiomgb (2031), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 24, 2003 Light gold in colour. Aroma of very light hops, with some grass. Very light body, small amount hops as well. The finish was very fast as well. Still a somewhat refreshing beer.
