| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Dec 22, 2004 Bottle. From Beers of the world. Guess France better stick to making wine. This poued yellow, no head. No nose. No flavor. No nothing. Believe it or not I think Budweiser is as good as this. GG (1674), NorCal, California, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | May 22, 2006 How can a place like France, so close to the Belgium border, create such a concoction so horrible that thirsty nomads in the Saharan desert wouldn’t drink? I mean really. Someone in France make a beer that doesn’t taste like crap. Please. Aroma of grainy mildewy, rotten skunk. A lifeless, golden hue with no bubbles and little head. A watery grave of a mouthfeel, so thin that it’s water like. An unpalatable, malty sweet skunk that is just simply not pleasing at all. This would have been a drainpour had I not paid for this. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 11, 2005 Golden colour, rather small, diminishing white head. Fresch malty aroma, smouth taste, rather bitter finish. Nothing special, just another international lager MrManning (1658), London, Ontario, Canada
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 10, 2004 Not much to talk about here. Poured a thick frothy head that lasted a bloody year before going away. Too bad I was disappointed after the wait. TO me this was a combination of a malt liquor, and a watery beer, which is better than a malt liquor, but not by much. jason (1626), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 19, 2007 Draught. Possibly the best lager I’ve ever had. Golden body with thin head. Aroma is of crisp hops, slightly grainy. Taste is mellow but pleasant. Very smooth and none of the bitter bite that usually comes from pale lagers.
