| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 22, 2007 Draught in Geneva airport. Clear gold with a medium, creamy white head that settles fast. Aroma is a little sour and grainy with some hops, but is very faint in intensity. Flavor is dry and bitter with some hop flavor; a little bready with some grain in the finish; not too clean. Light palate with high carbonation and lingering bitterness. Overall, its got more hops than I would have expected in a pale lager, and that makes it more interesting than most, but they don’t really make it taste that much better. Slightly better than the mass produced American lagers. I was in an old bar on Central in AZ called The George and Dragon. This elderly Scottsman sitting next to me suggested I try the Kronenbourg in a bomber, he called it the kronic. I asked the old chap why the name sake. He went on to tell me they call it Kronic because if you drink too much of it, you’ll feel kronic the next morning. No shit ? BUAGH!!
