| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 12, 2002 Medium gold clear under a medium size medium lasting white head and thin lace curtains. Faintly skunky (green bottle and right on the edge of its use by date - 11/02 does not help) and stale hops aroma. Medium thin watery body. Medium malty and lighter stale bitter and chemical flavours. 9V battery on tongue aftertaste. wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Finland
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 8, 2007 Pale bronze hue came with a quickly dissipating foamy white head. The aroma is fairly bland, mostly wheat and cereal grain along with bottled applesauce and the faintest hint of woodsy hops. Sweet malt and corn flavour initially, surprisingly acidic and sharp middle, flowing into a grainy, peppery finish. Medium to light bodied, reasonably firm texture, explosive carbonation. Other than the applesauce and acidity, I don’t suppose there’s much technically wrong here, but there’s nothing to cause excitement. Labeled at 5.5% abv. 50cl can, Leffe goblet, bbe 08/2008. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 20, 2005 Had low expectations of this and was pleasantly surprised. No complexity but it’s a decent session lager. Poured a gold colour with a big head. Some buttery malt on the nose, and zesty hops. Creamy palate, light and quenching with a negligible finish. Buttery malt, minimal bitterness. (Bottle) turbo (1254), Arizona, USA
