Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear yellow, white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy skunky.
Flavor is hoppy, crisp and watery. Nothing offensive here. This is completely drinkable for the genre. In fact, I could probably sling back a few of these in the hot summer sun, or the bleak darkness of the winter.

Pours light yellow-amber with a small head; the aroma is a sort appealing drinking-in-the-sunshine-on-the-beach grassy hops; but the flavor is a bit sweet, not so strong on the hops, a bit of stewed corn, and while not unpleasant not memorable in any way either.

Sep 1, 2004 Draught. Amber color. Fairly big white head with decent retention. Aroma is slightly malty, slightly sweet, little stale. Flavor is very similar, and it has a semi-dry finish with faint bitterness. Body is a watery. Tastes a lot like a weaker version of Fosters.

Jun 22, 2008 Disappointing overall. This beer pours a transparent gold color with a tiny white head. It had a ricey/ lagery aroma with a taste to match. Disappointing overall, tried it based on a waitress recommendation after enjoying a Hacker-Pschorr and asking for something similar. Note: just because it’s been brewed since 1664, does not mean it is exceptional.

Aug 15, 2004 Bottle. Golden colour. Head vanishes within seconds. The aroma is hoppy with cereals. Light bitter taste. The alcohol tastes a bit through. Cereals here as well. Really not a lot to say about this beer.

Aug 5, 2007 (Tap) Pours a golden color with a fair amount of head. Sweet aroma. Taste is of light crisp hops and some grain. Somewhat astringent towards the end. Average carbonation and slightly below average mouthfeel. Just another Euro lager...
