Hmmm, the bottle is Green… Frogs are Green?!
Pours a crystal clear golden body and a large white head. The aroma is skunky with pilsner malt. Note of lemon in the flavor, tart skunk hoppy bite… this beer Stinks! Hmmm, Frogs stink?! This tasts like I’m drinking the water after I just boiled a head of cabbage! The bottle is the best part of this beer…. Blaaaa!

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Pours a clear pale gold with small, sparce rising bubbles and a dense, frothy, white head that sticks around for quite some time. It eventually diminishes leaving some solid lace. The aroma is skunked, a real shocker for a bright green bottle from a mix-a-six shelf. ;) Once it "airs out", I get a light grainy presence backed by a touch of faint, grassy hops. Light-bodied and thin with soft, fine carbonation-nice for a pale lager-finishing clean and crisp with just a hint of metal. The flavor is a clean and crisp sweet malt front with a lightly grassy hop backing and far less "metal" than I detect in many widely distributed pale lagers. This one’s not too shabby. I like it enough that if I could find another single that has been better protected from light, I’d try it again. piscator34 (1133), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 20, 2004 Out of the bottle it seemed a different beer to the one I tasted on Draught two years ago. Poured a clear gold, with short bubbly head that dissipated quickly. Light aroma of grass and sweet malt. In the mouth, the initial sweetness was conflict to the vinous hop notes and light spice. Body was thin and mildly carbonated, with slightly unbalanced flavours throughout into a mildly fruity, short swallow. Nothing to write home about, just another ’Lager’, really.
