Mouth is some weird touch of wheat to juxtapose the malt hop bitterness. Finishes cleanly. Not much can be said here. probstk (1064), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: Clear golden with a nice white foam.
Aroma: Light, vague, boring malts, a touch of strange sweetness, something almost like wheat flour...
Palate: Medium body, fairly full carbonation.
Flav.: A little better than the nose, light biscuit malt, some grain/cereal, a touch of cardboard, no hops anywhere, still a little vague sweetness, but the beer is dry with basically no bitterness.
Stick to the wine making, France. obguthr (1063), Poquoson, Virginia, USA

Good flavor of grain and hops, but lacks character. Ordinary hop finish. Plenty of flavor, nothing at all distinctive. jredmond (1057), New Jersey, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 11, 2005 Nice medium gold. Standard issue nose, some malt influence, otherwise unremarkable. Fairly neutral palate, more malt flavours than one would typically expect from the genre. Slightly dry finish. pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada

I’ve put off sampling this one for years and now I realize my disdain for pretentious canned euro import lagers was justified.
Poured a limpid pale gold. short lived white cap, faint aroma of grainds and grassy hops and some funk ( I could be tasting a stale sample)
Weak mouth. light peppery palate ( over carbonated) grainy tstes but sweet spartan hopping for a Euro lager...fast uneventful finish. To weak and sweetish without balance.
At $2.55 a half liter this is totally overpriced. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Orange with little ivory white head. Smellis malty sweet with slome doughiness. Flavor is watery hence quite easy to drink. Not a bad lager at all. I expected much worse - it almost had a wheatiness in the flavor. Palate is decent - overall very drinkable. ben4321 (1041), Rockville, Maryland, USA

I remember trying this for the first time and thinking: "Why am I drinking a French beer?" I stand by that question, I wouldn’t expect France to make good beer, and this is the only one I can recall ever drinking, and it wasn’t very good.
