Drank with Stegosaurus and Beereded_one at Newton brew fest. One of the worst beers I had at the festival. Pours gold serious skunk / grass smell and bad after taste.

on tap mews tavern 8/4/07. pours a clear golden in color with light carbination and a full head. smell is watery, faint hops, not much here. taste is the same unfortunately, light watery hops , a slightly metallic taste, and not a really good beer. where are those strisselspalt hops (the caviar of hops) as was advertised?

Poured clear yellow with tints of gold. The head was thin and white. Aroma was nothing to write home about, malty and musty. The watery palate overrides the weak flavor. Some hoppiness is noted on the finish. Easy to drink. The Coors Light of France.

Sampled in the company of good friends, I really had no complaints about this lager. Nothing terribly exciting, but no flaws. Decent malt, light hops. Forgettable, but nothing awful.

Pours a crystal clear slightly gold with minimal head that leaves a lot of lacing as it drops. Nose is mild with a touch of sweet malt aroma. Flavor is actually pretty decent for a mass produced brew. Has a fair amount of sweet tone to it that lasts long on your tongue but carries a slight touch of body from the malts. The sweet stays on your tongue longer than anything else. Mouthfeel is good. Thick carbonation and a lasting flavor. Drinkability is very high. I could go for these all the time. This one is a surprise for me and I am glad to have 5 more to be drinking.

Pretty bland lager. Slightly sweet. Corn in the taste. At least it was not skunky. Drinkable, but not recommendable.

Pretty good lager when not skunked (which is rare).
